AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 22 -48.1 OF CHAPTER 22
OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE VILLAGE OF DEERFIELD OF 1975
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF
DEERFIELD, LAKE AND COOK COUNTIES, ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION That Section 22 -48.1 entitled "Right turn permitted on red" of
ONE: Chapter 22 of the Municipal Code of Deerfield of 1975, as
amended, be and the same is hereby further amended by adding
thereto the following:
"Right turn on red shall not be permitted at the following
locations:
(a) Turning.east from Kipling Place onto Deerfield
Road between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m."
SECTION That the Village Manager shall post or cause to be posted
TWO: appropriate sign or signs indicating that right turn on red is
prohibited between the hours and in the area designated in
Section One hereof.
SECTION That the Village Clerk is hereby directed to publish this
THREE: ordinance in pamphlet form.
SECTION That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict here -
FOUR: with are, to the extent of such conflict, hereby repealed.
SECTION That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
FIVE: and after its passage, approval and publication, as provided by
law.
