ORDINANCE NO. 0 -79 -53 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING MAP WHEREAS, the Plan Commission of the Village of Deerfield has heretofore held a public hearing upon the Petition of the Chesterfield Development Cor- poration for the reclassification of certain real estate located within the Village, and hereinafter described, from the R -1 Single Family Residential District to the R -2 Single Family Residential District and to authorize the development and use of said real estate for a residential development pursuant to a Preliminary Plat of Subdivision; and WHEREAS, said hearing was held pursuant to duly published notice thereof and was in all respects held according to law; and WHEREAS, the Plan Commission of the Village of Deerfield, after consider- ing the evidence adduced, made written findings of fact recommending that the Zoning Map be amended to include the Subject Property in the R -2 Single Family Residential District and that the use of said real estate as a residential development pursuant to a Preliminary Plat of Subdivision be approved and authorized subject to the Corporate Authorities enacting the necessary ordinances approving certain variations from the Zoning Ordinance of the Village of Deerfield required by the Preliminary Plat of Subdivision; and WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Deerfield have determined that the best interests of the Village will be served by the reclassification of said real estate as recommended by the Plan Commission. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF DEERFIELD, LAKE AND COOK COUNTIES, ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS: SECTION That the Zoning Map of the Village of Deerfield included and made ONE: a part of the Village Zoning Ordinance passed April 17, 1978, as amended, is hereby further amended by rezoning and reclassifying the property described in Exhibit "A ", attached hereto and made a part hereof, to the R -2 Single Family Residential District in conformity with a Preliminary Plat of Subdivision presented to the Corporate Authorities by Petitioner. SECTION That the Village Clerk is hereby directed to publish this TWO: ordinance in pamphlet form. SECTION That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and THREE: after its passage, approval and publication, as provided by law.
