RESOLUTION REQUESTING ASSUMPTION OF TRAFFIC SIGNAL
MAINTENANCE AT DEERFIELD AND WAUKEGAN ROADS BY THE -
ILLINOIS DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION
BE IT RESOLVED, by the President and Board of Trustees of the
Village of Deerfield, Lake and Cook Counties, Illinois, that the Illinois
Department of Transportation is hereby requested to assume traffic
signal maintenance at the Deerfield Road - Waukegan Road intersection
in the Village of Deerfield, Deerfield Road being an unnumbered State
Route and Waukegan Road being State Route #43.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Village of Deerfield will
continue to be responsible for all energy costs connected with the
operation of the traffic signals at this intersection.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Village Clerk shall immediately
transmit two certified copies of this Resolution to the District Office of
the Illinois Department of Transportation at Schaumburg, Illinois, and two
copies to the Illinois Department of Transportation Office in Springfield.
