RESOLUTION NO. R-23-35
A RESOLUTION AMENDING THE ANNUAL FEE RESOLUTION OF
THE VILLAGE OF DEERFIELD REGARDING
CONSTRUCTION FEES FOR PATIOS/WALKWAYS/OTHER
MISCELLANEOUS SLABS AND SOLAR PERMITS
WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. R-22-99, the Village Board adopted its
Annual Fee Resolution for the 2023 calendar year ("Annual Fee Resolution'); and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 6-6 of the "Municipal Code of the Village of Deerfield,
Illinois, 1975," ("Village Code's the Village Board sets the fees for different types of
construction permits; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 6-6 of the Village Code, the Village Board desires to
modify the construction permit fees for (1) patios/walkways/other miscellaneous slabs permits
("Patio Permit Fee') and (ii) solar photovoltaic permits ("Solar PV Permit Fee'); and
WHEREAS, the Village Board has determined that it would be more efficient and
desirable to update the Annual Fee Resolution to include the new Patio Permit Fee and Solar
PV Permit Fee; and
WHEREAS, the Village Board has determined that, this Resolution would serve and
be in the best interest of the Village;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE BOARD OF
DEERFIELD, LAKE AND COOK COUNTIES, ILLINOIS, as follows:
SECTION ONE: RECITALS. The foregoing recitals are incorporated into, and
made a part of, this Resolution as findings of the Village Board.
SECTION TWO: AMENDMENT TO PERMIT FEES. The following entry in
the Annual Fee Resolution shall be, and it is hereby, amended as follows:
