ORDINANCE NO. 0 -79 -42
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTIONS 5 -14 AND 5 -15 OF CHAPTER 5,
ARTICLE 2, OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE VILLAGE OF DEERFIELD OF 1975
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF
DEERFIELD, LAKE AND COOK COUNTIES, ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION That Section 5 -14 entitled "License Tag" of Chapter 5 of the
ONE: Municipal Code of the Village of Deerfield of 1975, as amended,
be and the same is hereby further amended by deleting the
following phrase at the conclusion of subsection 5 -14(e) in its entirety:
"plus the additional license fee if any, due to a differ-
ence of sex of the dog as provided in this Article."
SECTION That Section 5 -15 of Chapter 5, Article 2, of the Municipal Code
TWO: of Deerfield of 1975, as amended, be and the same is hereby
further amended by deleting said Section 5 -15 in its entirety
and substituting in lieu thereof the following:
"Section 5 -15. Animal License Fee.
The license fee shall be $5.00 for each dog for each year
or fraction thereof; provided, however, that when a dog is
purchased or otherwise acquired or becomes six months of
age after June 30 in a license year, a license fee shall be
reduced fifty percent (508) for that license year."
SECTION That the Village Clerk is hereby directed to publish this
THREE: ordinance in pamphlet form.
SECTION That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict here -
FOUR: with are, to the extent of such conflict, hereby repealed.
SECTION That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
FIVE: and after its passage, approval and publication, as provided by
law.
