AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 6 -7
OF CHAPTER 6 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF DEERFIELD OF 1
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
VILLAGE OF DEERFIELD, LAKE AND COOK COUNTIES, ILLINOIS, AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION That Section 6 -7 entitled "Public Buildings;
ONE: Permit Fees; Exemptions; Charges" of Chapter
6 of the Municipal Code of Deerfield of 1975,
as amended,be and the same is hereby further amended by adding
the following at the conclusion of the first paragraph thereof.
"In lieu of the fees set forth in this
Chapter, any permit applicant of sixty
five (65) years of age or more shall
pay a fee of One & no /100 Dollars ($1.00)
in the event the project cost does not
exceed Five Thousand & no /100 Dollars
($5,000.00). Except as modified hereby, the
fee schedule contained in this Chapter
shall remain in full force and effect."
SECTION The Village Clerk is hereby directed to publish
TWO: this ordinance in pamphlet form.
SECTION That all ordinances or-any part thereof in conflict
THREE: herewith are to the extent of such conflict hereby
repealed.
SECTION
FOUR: That this ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage, approval and
publication, as provided by law.
