ORDINANCE NO. 0 -78- 31
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 22,
SECTION 22 -55 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF DEERFIELD
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
VILLAGE OF DEERFIELD, LAKE AND COOK COUNTIES, ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS.
SECTION That Section 22 -55 of Chapter 22 of the Municipal Code
ONE: of the Village of Deerfield of 1975, as amended, be
and the same is hereby further amended by striking said
Section in its entirety and substituting in lieu thereof the
following:
"Sec. 22 -55 Pedestrian soliciting rides or business.
No person shall stand in a roadway, parkway or sidewalk for the
purpose of soliciting a ride or soliciting business from the
driver of any vehicle."
SECTION That the Village Clerk is hereby directed to publish
TWO: this ordinance in pamphlet form.
SECTION That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
THREE: herewith are, to the extent of such conflict, hereby
repealed.
SECTION That this ordinance shall remain in full force and
FOUR: effect from and after its passage, approval and
publication as provided by law.
