ORDINANCE NO. 0 -78- 40
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING MAP
WHEREAS, the Plan Commission of the Village of Deerfield has heretofore
held a public hearing at the request of the Corporate Authorities of the
Village of Deerfield for the reclassification of certain real estate located
within the Village, and hereinafter described, from the C -2 Outlying Commer-
cial District with a Special Use - Planned Development Office Complex to the
I -1 Office Research, Restricted Industrial District with a Special Use -
Planned Development Office Complex and to authorize the development and use
of said real estate for an office complex under and pursuant to the terms
and provisions of an Annexation Agreement, as amended, dated April 8, 1974,
between the Owners of the real estate and the Corporate Authorities; and
WHEREAS, said hearing was held pursuant to duly published notice thereof
and was in all respects held according to law; and
WHEREAS, the Plan Commission of the Village of Deerfield, after consi-
dering the evidence adduced, made written findings of fact and recommended
that said real estate be reclassified from the C -2 Outlying Commercial Dis-
trict with a Special Use - Planned Development Office Complex to the I -1
Office Research, Restricted Industrial District with a Special Use - Planned
Development Office Complex and that the use of said real estate as a Planned
Development- Office Complex be approved and authorized subject to the terms
and conditions of said Annexation Agreement; and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Deerfield
have determined that the best interests of the Village will be served by the
reclassification of said real estate as recommended by the Plan Commission.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE VILLAGE OF DEERFIELD, LAKE AND COOK COUNTIES, ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION That the Zoning Map of the Village of Deerfield included
ONE: and made a part of the Village Zoning Ordinance, passed
April 17, 1978, as amended, is hereby further amended by
rezoning and reclassifying the property described in Exhibit "A ", attached
hereto and made a part hereof, to the I -1 Office Research, Restricted Indus-
trial District with a Specual Use - Planned Development Office Complex in
conformity with the terms of the Annexation Agreement dated April 8, 1974,
as amended.
SECTION That the Village Clerk is hereby directed to publish this

SECTION That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
THREE: after its passage, approval and publication, as provided by
law.
