AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 19 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE
OF THE VILLAGE OF DEERFIELD
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF
DEERFIELD, LAKE AND COOK COUNTIES, ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION That Chapter 19 of the Miinicipal Code of the Village of
ONE: Deerfield of 1975, as amended, be and the same is hereby
further amended by deleting Subsection 19 -24(d) in its
entirety and substituting in lieu thereof the following:
"(d) Residential - A deposit of Seventy -Five Dollars ($75.00) for
driveways not more than ten (10) feet in width and Seventy -Five Dollars
($75.00) for each additional ten (10) feet in width, or fraction thereof,
shall be made for all driveways. Upon completion of the driveway and any
parkway restoration necessitated by installation of the driveway and
upon approval of the Director of Building and Zoning, such deposit, less
Ten Dollars ($10.00) for inspection fees and less any amounts the Director
of Building and Zoning determines are necessary to complete parkway
restoration shall be refunded."
SECTION That the Village Clerk is hereby directed to publish this
TWO: ordinance in pamphlet form.
SECTION That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict here -
THREE: with are, to the extent of such conflict, hereby repealed.
SECTION That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
FOUR: and after its passage, approval and publication as provided
by law.
