WHEREAS, it is considered essential to the economic
and social welfare of the Village of Deerfield that the busi-
ness district be maintained and revitalized by assuring
opportunities for development and redevelopment and attracting
sound and stable commercial growth; and
WHEREAS, the corporate authorities in the exercise
of the powers provided by Chapter 24, Section 11- 74.3 -1, et
seq., Illinois Revised Statutes, have held a public hearing
to consider the establishment of a Business District pursuant
to said provision.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PRESIDENT AND
BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF DEERFIELD, LAKE AND COOK
COUNTIES, ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS:
