AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 2 OF THE
MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE VILLAGE OF DEERFIELD
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE
OF DEERFIELD, LAKE AND COOK COUNTIES, ILLINOIS,.AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION That Chapter 2 of the Municipal Code of the Village
ONE: of Deerfield of 1975, as amended, be and the same is
hereby further amended by deleting Section 2 -53 in
its entirety and substituting in lieu thereof the
following:
"Sec. 2 -53. Money Collected by the Clerk. The Clerk shall turn
over all money received by him on behalf of the Village to the
Village Treasurer promptly upon receipt of the same; and with such
money he shall give a statement as to the source thereof. Moneys
to be turned over to the Village Treasurer shall include all sums
received by the Village Clerk as Local Registrar of Vital Statistics
pursuant to Chapter 111 1/2 Section 73 -9 and Chapter 111 1/2
Section 73- 10 ".(4), Illinois Revised Statutes."
SECTION That the Village Clerk is hereby directed to publish
TWO: this ordinance in pamphlet form.
SECTION That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
THREE: herewith are, to the extent of such conflict, hereby
repealed.
SECTION That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect
FOUR: from and after its passage, approval and publication
as provided by law.
