AN ORDINANCE TO SELL PERSONAL PROPERTY
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF
DEERFIELD, LAKE AND COOK COUNTIES, ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION That the Board of Trustees of the Village of Deerfield is
ONE: of the opinion and finds that the personal property hereinafter
described on Schedule A attached hereto and made a part of this
Ordinance, is no longer necessary or useful to or for the best interests of the
Village of Deerfield and therefore that it is in the best interests of the
Village that this said property be offered for sale at auction, without the
necessity of publication of legal notice therefor.
SECTION That said sale of said personal property shall be held on
TWO: November 12 , 1977 at In a.m. at the Village of Deer-
field, Public Works Building, 465 Elm Street, Deerfield, Illinois
upon the following terms and conditions:
A. Each item of personal property set forth on Schedule A shall
be sold as a separate item to the highest bidder.
B. The Village of Deerfield agrees to convey all its right, title
and interest in and to each item of personal property by a Quit Claim
Bill of Sale to be furnished to each buyer.
C. All sales shall be for cash and all items sold at said auction
shall be sold as is, where is and free of any warranty as to suitability
and fitness, either express or implied.
D. The Village of Deerfield, as seller, reserves the right to
accept or reject any and all bids for any item of personal property.
SECTION That the Village Treasurer is hereby designated to act on
THREE: behalf of the Village of Deerfield in the conduct of said
auction sale.
SECTION That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
FOUR: after its passage and approval as provided by law.
