AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 22
OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF DEERFIELD
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF
DEERFIELD, LAKE AND COOK COUNTIES, ILLINOIS,.AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION That Section 22 -70 of Chapter 22 of the Municipal Code
ONE: of the Village of Deerfield of 1975, as amended, be and
the same is hereby further amended by deleting subsection
22- 70(b)(1) and substituting in lieu thereof the following:
"A space 25 feet long on the south curb of Deerfield Road being
that space between 710 feet and 735 feet west of the centerline
of Waukegan Road as measured along the centerline of Deerfield
Road. It shall be unlawful to park any vehicle other than a truck,
commercial vehicle or freight- carrying vehicle in any truck loading
zone during the hours hereinafter named and it shall be unlawful to
park any truck, commercial vehicle or freight- carrying vehicle in
such zone for a longer period than necessary to load or unload
materials, not to exceed fifteen (15) minutes, in any event; between
the hours of six thirty o'clock..(6:30) A.M. and six thirty o'clock
(6:30) P.M. on any day except Sundays and holidays."
SECTION That the Village Clerk is hereby directed to publish this
TWO: ordinance in pamphlet form.
SECTION That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict here -
THREE: with are, to the extent of such conflict., hereby repealed.
SECTION That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
FOUR: and after its passage, approval and publication as provided
by law.
