AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 6 -2
OF CHAPTER 6 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE
OF THE VILLAGE OF DEERFIELD
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF
DEERFIELD, LAKE AND COOK COUNTIES, ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION That Section 6 -2 of Chapter 6 of the Municipal Code of
ONE: of Deerfield of 1975, as amended, be and the same is
hereby further amended by deleting Section 6 -2(a) in its
entirety and substituting in lieu thereof the following:
"Sec. 6 -2(a).

The erection, repair or alteration of all -&t-r41ot3ons not regulated
by other provisions of this Chapter shall be in compliance with the
provisions of the Suburban Building Code of 1968, as amended, as to
buildings designed for one (1) or two (2) family occupancy and the
1976 Edition of the National Building Code recommended by the
American Insurance Association as to other types of construction
which provisions are hereby adopted by reference and incorporated
as fully as if set out at length herein."
SECTION That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
TWO: herewith are, to the extent of such conflict, hereby
repealed.
SECTION That the Village Clerk is hereby directed to publish this
THREE: ordinance in pamphlet form.
SECTION That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect
FOUR: from and after its passage, approval and publication
as provided by law.
