ORDINANCE NO. 0 -77 -30
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 10 -1 OF CHAPTER 10
OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE VILLAGE OF DEERFIELD
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF
DEERFIELD, LAKE AND COOK COUNTIES, ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION That Section 10 -1 entitled "Adoption of Fire Prevention
ONE: Code" of Chapter 10 of the Municipal Code of Deerfield of
1975, as amended, be and the same is hereby further amended
by striking said Section in its entirety and substituting in lieu thereof
the following:
"Sec. 10 -1(a)
The regulations contained in the 1976 edition of the Fire Prevention
Code recommended by the American Insurance Association, save and
except such portions as are deleted, modified or amended in this
Chapter, are hereby adopted and by this reference made a part of this
Chapter with the same force and effect as though set out in full
herein. At least three (3) copies of such Fire Prevention Code
(1976 Edition) are on file and open for public use, examination and
inspection in the office of the Director of Building and Zoning."
SECTION That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
TWO: herewith are, to the extent of such conflict, hereby
repealed.
SECTION That the Village Clerk is hereby directed to publish this
THREE: ordinance in pamphlet form.
SECTION That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect
FOUR: from and after its passage, approval and publication as
provided by law.
