AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTIONS 9.101 AND 9.102,
ARTICLE I OF CHAPTER 9 (SUBDIVISIONS) OF THE
MUNICIPAL'CODE OF DEERFIELD
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF
DEERFIELD, LAKE AND COOK COUNTIES, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION That the Municipal Code of the Village of Deerfield of
ONE: 1963, as amended, be and the same is further amended by
striking the definitions of "Subdivisions" and "Resubdivi-
sions" in Section 9.101 of Chapter 9 in their entirety and substituting in
lieu thereof the following:
"Subdivision - the division of a parcel of real estate not
previously subdivided, into two or more lots or parcels as
to require the preparation and recording of a plat of sub-
division.
Resubdivision - a change or rearrangement in the boundaries
or division lines of a lot or lots of record."
SECTION That the Municipal Code of the Village of Deerfield of
TWO: 1963,'as amended, be and the same is further amended by
adding to Section 9.102a of Chapter 9 the following:
"In the case of all lots of record as defined herein, a division
or separation of or from such Lot of Record by conveyance of
record shall be deemed a subdivision or resubdivision within
the terms of this ordinance and require the preparation and
recording of a plat of subdivision or resubdivision as the
case may be, in accordance with the terms of this Section."
SECTION That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
THREE herewith are, to the extent of such conflict, hereby
repealed.
SECTION That the Village Clerk is hereby directed to publish this
FOUR: ordinance in pamphlet form.
