AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 22.106
OF ARTICLE I OF CHAPTER 22
OF THE DEERFIELD MUNICIPAL CODE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF
DEERFIELD, LAKE AND COOK COUNTIES, ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION That Section 22.106 of Article I of Chapter 22 of the
ONE: Municipal Code of Deerfield of 1963, as amended, be and
the same is hereby further amended by adding to said
Section 22.106 Subsection F as follows:
"F. The fee for the initial certification of every passenger
elevator, freight and hand elevator, power operated dumb-
waiter, moving stairway or similar hoisting device shall
be $20.00, and the fee for a temporary use permit for such
a device shall be $20.00
The fees for semi - annual inspection, testing and certifi-
cation of existing power passenger elevators, freight and
hand elevators, power operated dumbwaiters, moving stair-
ways and similar hoisting devices shall be $20.00."
SECTION That all ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict
TWO: herewith are, to the extent of such conflict, hereby
repealed.
SECTION That the Village Clerk is hereby directed to publish
THREE: this ordinance in pamphlet form.
SECTION That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect
FOUR: from and after its passage, approval and publication
as provided by law.
