AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 10.303 OF CHAPTER 10
OF 'THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THEVILLAGE OF DEERFIELD
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE VILLAGE OF DEERFIELD, LAKE AND COOK COUNTIES, ILLINOIS, AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION That Section 10.303 of Chapter 10 of the
ONE: Municipal Code of Deerfield of 1963, as
amended, be and the same is hereby further
amended by inserting the following sentence after the first
sentence thereof:
In the case of any new construction, any such house
numbers shall be not less than three inches high, shall
be in figures rather than script, shall be in colors
which contrast to the color of the structure or the
mounting on which the house numbers are placed, and
shall be on the side of the house closest to and parallel
to the street.
SECTION That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in
TWO: conflict herewith are, to the extent of such
conflict, hereby repealed.
SECTION That the Village Clerk is hereby directed to
THREE: publish this Ordinance in pamphlet form.
SECTION That this Ordinance shall be in full force and
FOUR: effect from and after its passage, approval and
publication, as provided by law.
