AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 21.003
OF CHAPTER 21 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF DEERFIELD
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
VILLAGE OF DEERFIELD, LAKE AND COOK COUNTIES, ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION That Section 21.003 of Chapter 21 of the Municipal
ONE: Code of Deerfield of 1963, as amended, be and the
same is hereby further amended by striking said
Section in its entirety and substituting in lieu thereof the following:
21.003 Fees.) The annual fee to be paid for vehicle
licenses shall be as follows:
Passenger Cars of 35 horsepower or less ---------------- $10.00
Passenger Cars of more than 35 horsepower -------------- $15.00
Trucks and Buses:
A and B State Plates --------------------------------- $20.00
C and D State Plates --------------------------------- $25.00
All other State Plates------ ------------------------- $30.00
Motor Cycles ------------------------------------------- $10.00
Motor Bikes and Motor Scooters ------------------------- $10.00
Transfer------------------------------------------ - - - - -$ .50
School Buses operated by a not - for - profit
corporation, or a public or parochial school
or buses operated by a company on a Certificate
of Convenience and Necessity from the Illinois
Commerce Commission----------------------------- - - - -No Charge
SECTION That the Village Clerk is hereby directed to
TWO: publish this Ordinance in pamphlet form.
SECTION That all Ordinances or parts of ordinances in
THREE: conflict herewith are, to the extent of such
conflict, hereby repealed.

SECTION That this Ordinance shall be in full force and
FOUR: effect from and after its passage, approval and
publication as provided by law, except that the
fees set forth in Section One shall apply to vehicle licenses to be issued
for the year 1975 and subsequent years.
