AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 21.003
OF CHAPTER 21 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF DEERFIELD
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
VILLAGE OF DEERFIELD, LAKE AND COOK COUNTIES, ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION That Section 21.003 of Chapter 21 of the Municipal
ONE: Code of Deerfield of 1963, as amended, be and the
same is hereby further amended by adding the following
immediately after the fee schedule contained therein:
"The annual fee for a non - commercial vehicle license
for a vehicle owned by a resident of age 65 or over
shall be $1.00 for the first vehicle licensed in each
year. Additional vehicles owned by such residents
shall be licensed at the rates set out above."
SECTION That the Village Clerk is hereby directed to
TWO: publish this,Ordinance in pamphlet form.
SECTION That all Ordinances or parts of ordinances in
THREE: conflict herewith are, to the extent of such
conflict, hereby repealed.
SECTION That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
FOUR: from and after its passage, approval and publication
as provided by law, except that it shall apply to
vehicle licenses to be issued. for the year 1975 and subsequent years.
