AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 15 OF THE
MUNICIPAL CODE OF DEERFIELD OF 1963
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE
OF DEERFIELD, LAKE AND COOK COUNTIES, ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION That Section 15.008 of Chapter 15 of the Municipal Code
ONE: of Deerfield of 1963, as amended, is hereby further
amended by adding the following:
Section 15.008 License Fees.)
Class E. Licenses for the sale at retail of wine and beer
in the original package and not to be consummed on the
premises. The annual fee for a Class E license shall be $500,00,,
SECTION That Section 15.009 of Chapter 15 of the Municipal Code
TWO: of Deerfield of 1963, as amended, is hereby further amended
by striking said Section in its entirety and substituting in
lieu thereof, the following:
Section 15.009 Number of Licenses.)
There shall be issued in the Village no more than two (2) Class
A Licenses; no more than three (3) Class B Licenses; no more than
one (1) Class C License; no more than three (3) Class D Licenses;
and no more than one (1) Class E License to be in effect at one
time.
SECTION That the Village Clerk is hereby directed to publish
THREE: this Ordinance in pamphlet form.
SECTION That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
FOUR: herewith are, to the extent of such conflict,
hereby repealed.
SECTION That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
FIVE: from and after its passage, approval and publication
as provided by law.

NOW COME the undersigned Petitioners requesting the
annexation of the parcel of land hereinafter set forth to the
Village of Deerfield, Illinois.
In support of this petition, the Petitioners
respectfully say:
1. The undersigned certify that they are all of the
owners of record of the following described property:
The North 1/2 of the West 1/2 of Lot 2 of
the North West 1/4 of Section 5, Township
42 North, Range 12, East of the Third Princi-
pal meridian also the East 5 acres (except
therefrom the West 162 feet of the East 5
acres) of the North 1/2 of the East 1/2 of
Lot 2 of the North East 1/4 of Section 6,
Township 42 North, Range 12, East of the
Third Principal Meridian, in Cook County,
Illinois.
which territory is depicted on an accurate map marked Exhibit A,
attached to and made a part of this Petition.
2. That said territory is not within the Village or
corporate limits of any municipality, but is contiguous to
the Village of Deerfield, Illinois.
3. That no electors reside on or within the above
described property.
4. That the above owners of record have made this
petition under oath:
WHEREFORE, Your Petitioners Pray:
(a) That the Mayor and Board of Trustees of
the Village of Deerfield, Illinois favorably
consider the question of annexation of the
above - described property;

that on the 4th day of June, 1974, he mailed, by Certified Mail,

OF TERRITORY WITHIN THE
NORTHBROOK RURAL FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT
COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS
TO: Board of Trustees
Northbrook Rural Fire Protection District

Northbrook, Illinois
Attention: Chief Augustus Bennet
Gentlemen:
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that there has been filed with the
Board of Trustees of the Village of Deerfield a certain Petition
for Annexation by owners of certain territory located within the
boundaries of the Northbrook Rural Fire Protection District, and
legally described on the attached Exhibit A.
Said property consists of approximately 23 acres and is
located at the South of Lake Cook Road between Waukegan Road on
the East and Wilmot Road on the West.
Action on said Petition for Annexation will be considered
by the Village of Deerfield Board of Trustees at 8:00 P.M., on
June 17, 1974, at 850 Waukegan Road, Deerfield, Illinois, at which
time and place you may appear and be heard if you so desire.
