AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 11 OF THE MUNICIPAL
CODE OF THE VILLAGE OF'DEERFIELD'
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
VILLAGE OF DEERFIELD, LAKE AND COOK COUNTIES, ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION The Municipal Code of Deerfield of 1963, as amended
ONE: be and is hereby further amended by deleting in its
entirety Section 11.201(b) and inserting the following:
11.201(b) Residential - A deposit of Seventy -Five Dollars ($75.00)
for driveways not more than ten (10) feet in width and
Seventy -Five Dollars ($75.00) for each additional ten
(10) feet in width shall be made for all driveways where
a curb exists. Upon completion of the driveway and any
parkway restoration necessitated by installation of the
driveway and upon approval of the Building Commissioner,
such deposit, less Ten Dollars ($10.00) for inspection
fees and less any amounts the Building Commissioner
determines are necessary to complete parkway restoration
shall be refunded. A performance bond, plus inspection
fees, may be submitted in lieu of the cash deposit set
forth above.
SECTION That all ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict.
TWO: herewith are, to the extent of such conflict, hereby
repealed.
SECTION That the Village Clerk is hereby directed to publish this
