House Resolution No. 516
(Timing of Traffic Control Signals)
,MUNICIPAL CLERKS
Gentlemen:
Attached is a copy of House Resolution No. 516 that was adopted by the.
House of.Representatives on July 2, 1973-
The Department agrees with the resolution and requests that Municipalities
review the timing of all traffic control signals under their jurisdiction.
Signals that do not promote an even and relatively unrestricted.flow of traffic
should be re- timed.
If the House of Representative's recommendations are followed a step
towards the elimination of air pollution and the national fuel shortage will
be accomplished.
Very truly yours,
