O-74-25ORDINANCE NO. 0 -74 -25 AN ORDINANCE VACATING A CERTAIN RESUBDIVISION IN THE VILLAGE OF DEERFIELD WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Deerfield, after due investigation and consideration, have determined that the nature and extent of the public use and the public interest to be subserved is such as to warrant the vacation of the resubdivision and the dedication of property hereinafter described. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF DEERFIELD, LAKE AND COOK COUNTIES,.ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS: SECTION That the following described resubdivision of real estate ONE: commonly known as 1332 Greenwood Avenue, which resub- division is known as "Roskamp's Resubdivision" in the Village of Deerfield, having heretofore been resubdivided by a plat of resubdivision containing a dedication for public purposes.evidenced by a document recorded in the Office of the Recorder of Deeds of Lake County, Illinois, on May 17, 1972, as Document No. 1557920 and as shown on and designated by the words, "Hereby Vacated," on the Plat hereto attached, which Plat, for greater certainty, is hereby made a part of this Ordinance, ..be and the same is hereby vacated and that portion thereof which was dedicated to the Village of Deerfield is also vacated, inasmuch as same is no longer required for public use and the public interest will be subserved by such vacation. SECTION That an irrevocable letter of credit in favor of the TWO: Village of Deerfield obtained for the purpose of securing the cost of improvement of the dedicated area be released to Robert Roskamp. SECTION That, upon passage and approval of this Ordinance, the THREE: Village Clerk shall file for record in the Office of the Recorder of Deeds of Lake County, Illinois, a certified copy of this Ordinance, together with the Plat hereto attached. SECTION That all ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict FOUR: herewith are, to the extent of such conflict, hereby repealed. ` I I SECTION That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect FIVE: from and after its passage, approval and filing for record in the manner herein provided.
