ABATEMENT OF PORTION OF LIBRARY BUILDING
BOND TAX FOR 1973
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF
DEERFIELD, LAKE AND COOK COUNTIES, ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION That the County Clerk of Lake County and the County Clerk of
ONE: Cook County are hereby authorized and directed to abate
$43,500.00 of the tax of $213,250.00 heretofore provided
for and levied in the Ordinance providing for the issuance of One Million Thirty
Five Thousand ($1,035,000) Dollars Library Building Bonds of the Village of
Deerfield, Lake and "Cook Counties, Illinois, passed January 19, 1970, a copy
of which is filed with the County Clerks.
SECTION That the Village of Deerfield has on hand sufficient funds to
TWO: pay $43,500.00 of the total tax levied by the above - described
Ordinance for the fiscal year commencing May 1, 1973, therefore,
a levy of only $169,750.00 is necessary.
SECTION That the Village Clerk is hereby directed to file certified
THREE: copies of this Ordinance with the County Clerks of Lake and
Cook Counties.
SECTION That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
FOUR: and after its passage and approval;as provided by law.
