AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 9.101, ARTICLE 1
OF CHAPTER 9 (SUBDIVISIONS) OF THE
MUNICIPAL 'CODE OF THE VILLAGE OF DEERFIELD
WHEREAS, the Plan Commission of the Village of Deerfield,
pursuant to proper notice, has held a public hearing upon the
subject of a certain amendment to the Municipal Code of the Village
of Deerfield; and
WHEREAS, the said Plan Commission has recommended that
the corporate authorities amend said Municipal Code as hereinafter
provided.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD
OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF DEERFIELD, LAKE AND COOK COUNTIES,
ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION That the Municipal Code of Deerfield of 1963,
ONE: as amended, be and the same is hereby further
amended by striking the definitions of "Subdivision" and "Resubdivision"
respectfully in Section 9.101 of Chapter 9 in their entirety and sub-
stituting in lieu thereof the following:
"Subdivision - The division of a parcel of real estate,
not previously subdivided, into two or more
lots or parcels in such a manner as to re-
quire, under the applicable provisions of
the State Law, the preparation and recording
of a plat of subdivision.
Resubdivision- A change or rearrangement in the boundaries or
division lines of a lot or lots of record,
previously subdivided."
SECTION That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in
TWO: conflict herewith are, to the extent of such
conflict, ereby repealed.
SECTION That the Village Clerk is hereby directed to
THREE: publish this Ordinance in pamphlet form.
SECTION That this Ordinance shall be in full force and
FOUR: effect from and after its passage, approval and
publication,,as provided by law.
