ORDINANCE NO. 0 -73- 50
AN ORDINANCE..ANNEXING CERTAIN
TERRITORY TO THE VILLAGE OF DEERFIELD
WHEREAS, certain territory described below is contiguous
to the Village of Deerfield; and
WHEREAS, such territory is dedicated for street or highway
purposes under the jurisdiction of the Department of Transportation
of the'State'of Illinois, or a county or township highway department;
and
WHEREAS, no part of such territory is within any other
municipality; and
WHEREAS, the Corporate Authorities of the Village of
Deerfield have determined that it is in the best interest of the
Village that such territory be annexed thereto.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD
OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF DEERFIELD, LAKE AND COOK COUNTIES,
ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS:
'SECTION.- That the following described territory be, and
ONE: the same is hereby annexed to the Village of
Deerfield, Lake'and Cook Counties, Illinois:
That portion of the right -of -way of Huehl Road,
from the right -of -way of Lake -Cook Road (County
Line Road) southerly to the north line of the
right -of -way of the Illinois Toll Highway (Edens
Spur) in Section 5, Township 42 North, Range 12
East of the Third Principal Meridian, in Cook
County, Illinois.
as shown on the map attached to and made a part of this Ordinance.
SECTION That the Village Clerk is authorized and directed
TWO: to cause the filing of a copy of this Ordinance,
with an• accurate map of the territory hereby annexed, certified as
correct by the Village Clerk with the Recorder of Deeds of Cook County,
Illinois.
SECTION. That this Ordinance shall be in full force and

Gentlemen:
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that an ordinance will be considered
by the Board of Trustees of the Village of Deerfield at its regu-
lar Board meeting on September 17, 1973, which ordinance provides
for the annexation of certain territory located within the boundaries
of the Northbrook Fire Protection District.
The territory proposed to be annexed consists of that portion of
the right -of -way of.Huehl Road, from the right -of -way of Lake -Cook
Road (County Line Road) southerly to the north line of the right -of-
way of the Illinois Toll Highway (Edens Spur).
The regular meeting -of the Board of Trustees of the Village of
Deerfield will be held at 8:00 P.M. at 850 Waukegan Road, Deerfield,
Illinois, at which time and place you may appear and be heard.
