AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 3
'OF' THE MUNICIPAL 'CODE 'OF; DEE .FTE`LD'
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE VILLAGE OF DEERFIELD, LAKE AND COOK COUNTIES, ILLINOIS, AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION That Chapter 3 of the Municipal Code of
ONE: Deerfield of 1963, as amended, be and the
same is hereby further amended by adding a new Section 3.013
thereto as follows:
3.013 Compensation.)
For the fiscal year commencing May 1, 19731' the
Clerk shall be paid an annual salary of
$5,200 and thereafter the Clerk's compensation
shall be'as determined by the President and
Board of Trustees provided that such compensa-
tion shall not be increased or diminished so
as to take effect during the term for which
the person then holding the office of Clerk
was elected.
'S'ECTION That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in
TWO: conflict herewith are, to the extent of such
conflict, hereby repealed.
SECTION That this Ordinance shall be in full force and
THREE: effect from and after its passage and approval
as provided by law.
