AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 9.104(b) (1), ARTICLE I OF CHAPTER 9
(SUBDIVISIONS) OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE VILLAGE OF DEERFIELD
WHEREAS, the Plan Commission of the Village of Deerfield, pursuant
to proper notice, has held a public hearing upon the subject of a certain
amendment to the Municipal Code of the Village of Deerfield; and
WHEREAS, the said Plan Commission has recommended that the
corporate authorities amend said Municipal Code as hereinafter provided.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF DEERFIELD, LAKE AND COOK COUNTIES, ILLINOIS,
ASITOLLOWS :
SECTION That the Municipal Code of Deerfield of 1963, as amended,
ONE: be and the same is hereby further amended by striking
Section 9.104(b) (1) Chapter 9 in its entirety and
substituting in lieu thereof the following:
"Section 9.104(b) (1)"
"An Affidavit from the applicant stating that he has given notice
by personal service or certified or registered mail, return
receipt requested, not less than 15 days nor more than 30 days
prior to the public meeting date to all persons who are either
(i) owners of record as of not more than 10 days prior to the
date of service and as shown on the records kept by the County
Recorder of Deeds, or (ii) persons listed on the most recently
published tax rolls of the Township or County Assessor as persons
who paid the general real estate taxes for the last preceding year,
on parcels of real estate being within 250 feet of the boundaries
of the property for which subdivision is requested."

SECTION That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in

conflict, hereby repealed.
SECTION That the Village Clerk is hereby directed to publish
THREE: this Ordinance in pamphlet form.
SECTION That this Ordinance shall be in full force and
FOUR: effect from and after its passage, approval and
publication, as provided by law.
