AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING MAP
(UNITED CONVEYOR CORPORATION)
WHEREAS, the Plan Commission of the Village of Deerfield
has heretofore held a public hearing on the application of UNITED
CONVEYOR CORPORATION for the classification of certain real estate
proposed to be annexed to the Village and hereinafter described, in
the Office & Research District; and
WHEREAS, said hearing was held.pursuant to duly published
notice thereof and was in all respects held according to law; and
WHEREAS, the Plan Commission of the Village of Deerfield,
after considering the evidence adduced, made certain findings of
fact and recommended that said real estate be classified in the
Office & Research District; and
WHEREAS, said property has been duly annexed to the Village
of Deerfield pursuant to an Annexation Agreement, dated July 17, 1972;
and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village
of Deerfield have determined that the best interests of the Village
will be served by the classification of said real estate as requested.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD
OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF DEERFIELD, LAKE AND COOK COUNTIES,
ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION That the Zoning Map of the Village of Deerfield,
ONE: included and made a part of the Village Zoning
Ordinance, passed May 4, 1953, as amended, is hereby further amended
by zoning and classifying the following described property in the
Office & Research District:
That part of the South East quarter of Section 31,
Township 43 North, Range 12 East of the 3rd P.M.,
described as follows: Commencing at a point 100
rods North of the South East corner of said Section;
thence North 30 rods; thence West 80 rods; thence
South 30 rods, thence East 80 rods, to the place
of beginning in Lake County, Illinois.

SECTION That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in
TWO: conflict herewith are, to the extent of such
conflict, hereby repealed.
SECTION That the Village Clerk is hereby directed to
THREE: publish this Ordinance in pamphlet form.
SECTION That this Ordinance shall be in full force and
FOUR: effect from and after its passage, approval and
publication, as provided by law.
