AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A VARIATION FROM THE
PROVISIONS OF THE ZONING ORDINANCE WITH
RESPECT TO THE PROPERTY LOCATED AT
950 KING RICHARDS COURT, DEERFIELD, ILLINOIS
WHEREAS, ALBERT S. JACOBS CO., INC. has petitioned for a
certain variation from the strict provisions of the Zoning Ordinance
of the Village of Deerfield, passed May 4, 1953, as amended; and
WHEREAS; pursuant to notice duly published, as required by
statute, a public hearing on said ptition was held and conducted by
the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Village of Deerfield; and
WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals has filed with the President
and Board of Trustees its written findings of fact and recommendations.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED
TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF DEERFIELD,
AS FOLLOWS:
BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF
LAKE AND COOK COUNTIES, ILLINOIS,
SECTION That the findings of fact and recommendation of the
ONE: Zoning Board of Appeals are hereby concurred .in and
adopted a.s:the findings of fact of the President and Board of Trustees.
SECTION That there are practical difficulties and particular
TWO: hardship in the way of carrying out the'strict letter
of the provisions of the Zoning Ordinance of the Village of Deerfield,
as applied to Petitioner's property, which is legally described as
follows:
Lot 10 in Haskell Richard's Subdivision of the Southeast
Quarter of the Southeast Quarter (except the East 51
Rods and except the West 9 Rods thereof, and except that
part taken for highway purposes) in Section 30, Township
43 North, Range 12 East of the Third Principal Meridian,
in the Village of Deerfield, Lake County, Illinois.
SECTION That a variation from the strict provisions of
THREE: Section VI- %1C. the Zoning Ordinance of the Village
of Deerfield, passed May,4, 1953, as amended with respect to the prop-
erty hereinabove, is hereby granted so, as to permit a front yard of
31 feet 7-1/4 inches at the .South property line and 31 feet 1 -1/4
inches at the North property'l'ine, both in lieu of the required
35 feet and all in accordance with plans presented and filed with
the Zoning Board of Appeals.
SECTION That the variation hereby granted is subject to
FOUR: compliance by Petitioner with all other applicable
provisions of the Zoning Ordinance and all other applicable ordinances
of the Village.
SECTION That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
FIVE: from and after its passage and approval as provided
by law.
