AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 2.214 OF
ARTICLE II OF CHAPTER 2 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF DEERFIELD
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
VILLAGE OF DEERFIELD, LAKE AND COOK COUNTIES, ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION That Section 2.214 of Article II of Chapter 2 of the
ONE Municipal Code of Deerfield of 1963, as amended, is
hereby further amended by striking said section in its entirety and
substituting in lieu thereof the following:
"2.214 Reconsideration.) After the decision on any
question any member who voted with the majority or
any member who was absent at the time the action
was taken may move a reconsideration of any action
at the same or next succeeding meeting,provided,
however, that a resolution authorizing or relating
to any contract may be reconsidered at any time
before the final execution thereof."
SECTION That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in
TWO: conflict herewith are, to the extent of such conflict,
hereby repealed.
SECTION: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
THREE: from and after its passage and approval, as provided
by law.
