AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 20.518 OF CHAPTER 20
OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF DEERFIELD
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
VILLAGE OF DEERFIELD, LAKE AND COOK COUNTIES, ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION That Section 20.518 of Chapter 20, entitled,
ONE: "Fire Lanes',' of the Municipal Code of Deerfield of
1963, as amended, be and the same is hereby further amended by adding
to the list of locations designated as Fire Lanes, the following:
"Montgomery Ward Retail Store. A lane approximately 30
feet wide extending along and adjacent to the westerly,
southerly and easterly sides of the principal building
located on said premises including the entrance and exit
drives to and from Waukegan Road, all as more fully
described in a certain Agreement dated January 3, 1972,
by and between the Village of Deerfield and Montgomery
Ward Realty Corporation."
SECTION That the Village Manager shall post or cause to be
TWO: posted an appropriate sign indicating that the area
designated in Section One hereof is a fire lane.
SECTION That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
THREE: from and after its passage, approval and publication,
as provided by law.
SECTION That the Village Clerk is hereby directed to publish
FOUR: this Ordinance in pamphlet form.
