AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 20.501
OF ARTICLE V OF CHAPTER 20 OF THE
MUNICIPAL CODE OF DEERFIELD
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
VILLAGE OF DEERFIELD, LAKE AND COOK COUNTIES, ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION That Section 20.501 of Article V of Chapter 20 of
ONE: the Municipal Code of Deerfield of 1963, as amended,
be and the same is hereby further amended by adding to the list of
locations where the standing and parking of vehicles is prohibited
at any time, as set forth in said Section, the following:
On both sides of Deerfield Road from its intersection
with Waukegan Road easterly to the Village limits.
and
On both sides of Waukegan Road from its intersection
with Deerfield Road northerly to the Village limits.
SECTION That the Village Manager shall post or cause to be
TWO: be posted an appropriate sign or signs indicating
that parking is prohibited at any time in the areas designated in
Section One hereof.
SECTION That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in
THREE: conflict herewith are, to the extent of such
conflict, hereby repealed.
SECTION That the Village Clerk is hereby directed to
FOUR: publish this Ordinance in pamphlet form.
SECTION That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
FIVE: from and after its passage, approval and publication,
as provided by law.
