AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 20.601
OF ARTICLE VI OF CHAPTER 20 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE
OF THE VILLAGE OF DEERFIELD
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
VILLAGE OF DEERFIELD, LAKE AND COOK COUNTIES, ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION That Section 20.601 of Article VI of Chapter 20 of
ONE: the Municipal Code of Deerfield of 1963, as amended,
is hereby further amended by striking said Section in its entirety
and substituting in lieu thereof, the following:
"20.601 License Required.)
It shall be unlawful for any person except those
expressly exempted by Section 6 -102 of the Illinois
Driver Licensing Law (Article VI, Chapter 95 -1/2,
Illinois Revised Statutes) to operate any motor
vehicle, regardless of size or horsepower, on any
public street or sidewalk in the Village unless
such person has a valid license or permit or a
restricted driving permit issued under the provisions
of said Illinois Driver Licensing Law."
SECTION That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in
TWO: conflict herewith, are, to the extent of such
conflict, hereby repealed.
SECTION That the Village Clerk is directed to publish this
THREE: Ordinance in pamphlet form.
SECTION That this Ordinance shall be in full force and
FOUR: effect from and after its passage, approval and
publicats.on as provided by law.
