O-71-13ORDINANCE NO. 0 -71- 13 AN ORDINANCE CANVASSING THE RESULTS OF A REGULAR ELECTION HELD APRIL 20, 1971 WHEREAS, on the 20th day of April, 1971, was held in and for the Village of Deerfield, Lake Illinois, for the purpose of filling the following three (3) Village Trustees for full four -year term Trustee for a two -year term to fill a vacancy, and Directors for full six -year terms; and a regular election and Cook Counties, offices, to -wit: 3, one (1) Village two (2) Library WHEREAS, said election was regularly called and held and notice of said election was given as required by law, by publica- tion of said notice of said election in the Deerfield Review, being a secular newspaper published in and of general circulation through said Village of Deerfield, and that the judges of said election were duly qualified and before entering upon their duties were duly commissioned as required by law, and that the returns of said election have been filed with the Clerk of the Village of Deerfield, and the Board of Trustees of the Village of Deerfield have examined and can- vassed the returns of said election and are familiar therewith. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF DEERFIELD, LAKE AND COOK COUNTIES, ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS: SECTION That this Board of Trustees does find that the ONE: regular election held on the 20th day of April, 1971, was duly called and held in all respects as provided by law, and as provided by the ordinance calling said election; that the judges of said election were duly qualified and commissioned and did conduct said election as required by law; that the returns of said election have been filed with the Village Clerk of the Village of Deerfield and are now before this Board of Trustees and have been examined by this Board of Trustees.
