AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ARTICLE IV OF CHAPTER
18 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE CF THE VILLAGE OF
DEERFIELD
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE VILLAGE OF DEERFIELD, }AI E= 'AND --cO 14 C0VNTjE§S, ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION That Article IV of Chapter 18 of the Municipal

amended, is hereby further amended by adding a
new section 18.413A as follows:
18.413A Open Burning.) The open burning of leaves,
brush, trimmings from trees or bushes, paper, garbage.
refuse, waste or other combustible material on any
property, public or private, within the Village of
Deerfield shall be unlawful and is hereby prohibited,
provided that the foregoing prohibition shall not
apply to fires in outdoor fireplaces or grills designed
and used for cooking food or to the burning of diseased
trees by employees of the Village.
SECTION That the Village Clerk is hereby directed
