AN ORDINANCE VACATING A CERTAIN
STREET IN THE VILLAGE OF DEERFIELD
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village
of Deerfield, after due investigation and consideration, have
determined that the nature and extent of the public use and the
public interest to be subserved is such as to warrant the vacation
of the street hereinafter described.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD
OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF DEERFIELD, LAKE AND COOK COUNTIES,
ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION That the following described real estate in the
ONE: Village of Deerfield,:having heretofore been
dedicated for public street purposes by a docu-
ment recorded in the Office of the Recorder of Deeds of Lake County,
Illinois on July 19, 1960, as Document No. 1075952 and which is
legally described as follows:
That part of the Northeast quarter of Section 32,
Township 43 North, Range 12, East.of the Third
Principal Meridian, described as follows:
Beginning at the Southeast corner of the East 100
feet of the.West 414.5 feet of the North 42 rods of
the Northwesterly quarter of the Northeast quarter
of Section 32, Township 43 North, Range 12, East of
the Third Principal Meridian, in the Village of
Deerfield, Lake County, Illinois, thence 50 feet
Northerly along the Easterly boundary of said parcel,
thence Westerly 50 feet along a line perpendicular
to the Easterly boundary of said parcel, thence
Southerly 50 feet along a line parallel to the Easterly
boundary of said parcel, thence Easterly 50 feet along
the Southerly boundary of said parcel to the point of
beginning.
as shown on and designated by the words "Hereby Vacated" on the
Plat hereto attached, which Plat for greater certainty is hereby
made a part of this Ordinance, be and the same is hereby vacated
and closed, inasmuch as same is no longer required for ppbl.ic
use and the public interest will be subserved by such vacation.
SECTION That the Village of Deerfield reserves its interest
TWO: in all existing easements for public utilities
in the vacated portion of said street which is here -
inabove described.
SECTION That upon passage and approval of this Ordinance,
THREE: the Village Clerk shall file -for record in the
Office of the Recorder of Deeds of Lake County,
Illinois, a certified copy of this Ordinance, together with the
Plat hereto attached.
SECTION Thmt all ordinances and parts of ordinances in
FOUR: conflict herewith, are, to the extent of such
conflict, hereby repealed.
SECTION That this Ordinance shall be in full force and
FIVE: effect from and after its passage, approval and
filing for record in the manner herein provided.
