ORDINANCE NO. 0 -70- 17 AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING A CONDITIONAL USE (VILLAGE'L'IBRARY,} WHEREAS, the Plan Commission of the Village of Deerfield has heretofore held a public hearing on the application of the BOARD OF LIBRARY DIRECTORS OF THE VILLAGE OF DEERFIELD to authorize the use of certain real estate hereinafter described for purposes of erecting and maintaining thereon a Village Library Building together with accessory facilities, as a Conditional Use under and pursuant to the provisions of Section XXIII, B of the Zoning Ordinance of the Village of Deerfield; and WHEREAS, said hearing was held pursuant to duly published notice thereof and was in all respects held according to law; and WHEREAS, the Plan Commission of the Village of Deerfield, after considering the evidence adduced, made written findings of fact and recommended that said Conditional Use of said real estate be approved and authorized. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES,OF THE VILLAGE OF DEERFIELD, LAKE AND COOK COUNTIES, ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS: SECTION That the Conditional Use of the real estate ONE: legally described as follows: North 60' of the South 68' in that part of the West 1/2 of the Southwest 1/4 West of the Highway, lying North of Lot 4 in Block 2 in plat of Deerfield in Section 28, Township 43 North, Range 12 east of the Third Principal Meridian in Lake County, Illinois and commonly known as 902 Waukegan Road. Commencing in the center of road at a point 68' North of the Northeast corner of Lot 4 in Block 2 in the Village of Deerfield, thence Westerly parallel to the Northerly line of said Lot 4, 324.5 feet to the Westerly line of Sec., thence North of Sec., line 50 feet, thence East 320.8 feet more or less to center of road, thence 50 feet to Place of Beginning in the part of the Southwest 1/4 of the Southwest 1/4, Section 28, Township 43 North, Range 12 East of the Third Principal Meridian in Lake County, Illinois and commonly known as 908 Waukegan Road. i The North 50 feet of the South 168 feet (measured on the West line) North of and adjacent to Lot 4 in Block 2 of Deerfield and West of the Highway South 1/4 of the Southwest 1/4 in Section 28, Township 43 North, Range 12 East of the Third Principal Meridian in Lake County, Illinois and commonly known as 914 Waukegan Road. The North 75 feet of the South 243 feet (measured on West line) North of and adjacent to Lot 4, Block 2 in Deerfield and West of Highway, in the South 1/4 of the Southwest 1/4, Section 28, Township 43 North, Range 12 East of the Third Principal Meridian in Lake County, Illinois and commonly known as 918 Waukegan Road. as and for the erectiori and maintenance thereon of a Village Library Building together with accessory uses and structures be and the same is hereby authorized and approved. SECTION That the approval and authorization of said TWO: Conditional Use hereby given is subject to compliance by Petitioner with all other applicable provisions of the Zoning Ordinance and all other applicable ordinances of the Village of Deerfield. SECTION That.the Village Clerk is hereby directed to THREE: publish this Ordinance in pamphlet form. SECTION That this Ordinance shall be in full force and FOUR: effect from and after its passage, approval and publication, as provided by law.
