R-71-X1A RESOLUTION TO REJECT BIDS RECEIVED
FOR CONSTRUCTION OF A LOCAL IMPROVEMENT
DESIGNATED AS SPECIAL ASSESSMENT NO. 110
AND TO RECOMMEND THE ABANDONMENT OF SAID
ASSESSMENT AND FURTHER PROCEEDINGS THEREOF
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF LOCAL IMPROVEMENTS OF THE. VILLAGE
OF DEERFIELD, LAKE AND COOK COUNTIES, ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION That this Board finds that the bids of Lakeland
ONE:
Construction Co. Inc. and of Eric Bolander
Construction Co., received'by this Board on September 7, 1971, for
construction of a portion of the local improvement provided in
Special Assessment No. 110, together with the estimated costs of
engineering, of levying and collecting the assessment, and for
reserve for deficiency in interest, to exceed the amounts .available
in said special assessment proceeding for the construction of the
said local improvement by more than 10% and'said bids are herein
rejected.
SECTION That it,is determined to be in the best interest

of this.Village that Special Assessment No. 110
and all further proceedings therein be abandoned.
SECTION That a proposed Ordinance to abandon Special Assess-

ment No. 110 together with the Recommendation
of this Board shall be forwarded to the President and Board-of Trustees
of the Village of Deerfield for the;' action:

TO REJECT BIDS RECEIVED FOR CONSTRUCTION OF A LOCAL IMPROVEMENT DESIGNATED
AS SPECIAL ASSESSMENT NO. 110 AND TO RECOMMEND THE ABANDONMENT OF SAID
ASSESSMENT AND FURTHER PROCEEDINGS THEREOF ", passed by the Board of Local
Improvements of the said Village at a meeting thereof on October 4, 1971,
all as appears in the records and files of my office.
