ORDINANCE NO. 0 -69- 20
AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE NO. 0 -69 -5
AND TO PROVIDE FOR A SUPPLEMENTAL ASSESSMENT
FOR THE IMPROVEMENT TO PORTIONS OF FAIRVIEW
AVENUE, BIRCHWOOD AVENUE, KENMOREAVENUE,
GORDON TERRACE, LAUREL AVENUE AND ROSEWOOD
AVENUE IN SPECIAL ASSESSMENT PROCEEDING NO. 108
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
VILLAGE OF DEERFIELD, LAKE AND COOK COUNTIES, ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION Ordinance No. 0 -69 -5 entitled "AN ORDINANCE PROVID-
ONE: ING FOR THE IMPROVEMENT OF PORTIONS OF FAIRVIEW
AVENUE, BIRCHWOOD AVENUE, KENMORE AVENUE, GORDON
TERRACE, LAUREL AVENUE AND ROSEWOOD AVENUE, BY THE CONSTRUCTION OF
PAVEMENT WITH INTEGRAL CURBING, SIDEWALKS, AND INCLUDING A DRAINAGE
SYSTEM WHERE NECESSARY" heretofore adopted by the President and
Board of Trustees of the Village of Deerfield on the third day of
March, 1969, is amended by amending SECTION FOUR and SECTION EIGHT
thereof to read as follows:
"SECTION The recommendations of the Board of Local
FOUR: Improvements providing for the improvement
and the estimated cost thereof made by the
President and Board of Local Improvements, and pro-
viding for a subsequent supplemental cost thereof,
both. hereto attached and made a part hereof, be and
the same are hereby approved."
"SECTION The Village Attorney be and he is hereby
EIGHT: directed to file Petitions in the Circuit
Court of Lake County in the name of the
Village praying that steps may be taken to levy a
special assessment for said improvement, and to levy
a supplemental assessment to cover the excess costs
thereof, in accordance with the provisions of this
Ordinance and in the manner prescribed by law."
SECTION All other provisions of Ordinance No. 0 -69 -5 shall
