AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 18
OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF DEERFIELD
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE VILLAGE OF DEERFIELD,. AKE AND COOK COUNTIES, ILLINOIS, AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION That Chapter 18,,Article V, Section 18.504, of
ONE:* the Municipal Code of Deerfield of 1963, as
amended, be and the same is hereby further amended
by striking said section in its entirety and substituting in lieu
thereof the following:
18.504 No license shall be issued unless the applicant
therefor shall file a performance bond conditioned upon
the licensee complying with the provisions of this article,
and provided further that no license shall be issued unless
the applicant therefor shall submit satisfactory evidence
that said applicant is licensed by the State of Illinois
to engage in the custom application of pesticides or as
a tree expert under the applicable statutes of the State
of Illinois.
SECTION That all ordinances and parts of ordinances in con -
TWO: flict herewith, are, to the extent of such .conflict,
hereby repealed.
SECTION That the Village Clerk is hereby directed to publish
THREE: this Ordinance in pamphlet form.
SECTION That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
FOUR: from and after its passage, approval and publication,
as provided by law.
