A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING HALLOWEEN
TRICK -OR -TREAT TIME
WHEREAS, Halloween will fall on Sunday, October 31, 1971;
and
WHEREAS, the Youth Council of the Village of Deerfield has
determined that the schools will hold their Halloween parties on
Friday, October 29, 1971, at which time the primary grade school
children will be in costume; and
WHEREAS, the Youth Council recommends that the Board of
Trustees of the Village of Deerfield designate Friday, October 29,
1971, as the time for trick -or- treating to allow the primary grade
school children to participate in this annual function following
the school parties and while said children are still in costume.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD
OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF DEERFIELD, LAKE AND COOK COUNTIES,
ILLINOIS that Friday, October 29, 1971, is herein designated as
Halloween trick -or -treat time in this Village.
