AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 7.001
OF CHAPTER 7 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE
OF DEERFIELD OF 1963, AS AMENDED
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD
OF TRL.STEES OF THE VILLAGE OF DEERFIEL.D, LAKE
AND COOK COUNTIES, ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION That Section 7.001 of Chapter 7 of the Municipal
ONE: Code of Deerfield of 1963, as amended, be and the
same is hereby further amended by striking said
section in its entirety and substituting in lieu thereof the following:
7.001 Creation of Department.) There is hereby created a
Police Department, an,, executive department of the Village.
The Police Department shall consist of the Chief of Police who
shall be ex officio Village Marshal, one Captain, four Lieuten-
ants, three Sergeants, and such other members as may be
provided for from time to time by the President and Board of
Trustees.
SECTION That all ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict
T R70: herewith are, to the exteneof such conflict, hereby
repealed.
SECTION That the Village Clerk is hereby directed to publish

SECTION That this, Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
