ORDINANCE NO. 0 -68- 32
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 7
OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF DEERFIELD
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE.VILLAGE OF DEERFIELD, LAKE AND COOK COUNTIES, ILLINOIS, AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION That Chapter 7 of the Municipal Code of Deer -
ONE: field of 1963, as amended, is hereby further
amended by adding a new Article II as follows:
Article II. Police Matrons
7.201 Subject to the approval of the Board of
Trustees, the.President may appoint one or more
persons to the position of police matron. Police
matrons shall not be members of the police department,
but under the direction of the commanding officer on
`duty and shall have charge of female prisoners while
in the custody of the village police department.
Police matrons shall receive compensation in an
amount determined by the Board of Trustees.
SECTION That this Ordinance shall be in full force
TWO: and effect from and after its passage and
approval as provided by law.
