RESOLUTION NO. R -71 -6
WHEREAS, a gold and green flag bearing the Coat of Arms of
the Village of Deerfield has been presented to the Village by Mr.
Vincent D'Arienzo; and
WHEREAS, it is fitting and proper that this gift be acknowledged
in a manner more significant than a mere expression of thanks:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the President and Board of
Trustees of the Village of Deerfield, Lake and Cook Counties, Illinois,
that the above - described flag is hereby adopted as the Official Flag of
the Village of Deerfield, to be displayed at all meetings of the President
and Board of Trustees, and to be carried in all official parades; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this Resolution be presented
to Mr. Vincent D'Arienzo as a token of appreciation for this most generous
gift.
