ORDINANCE NO. 0 -68-
AN ORDINANCE VACATING A CERTAIN
STREET IN THE VILLAGE OF DEERFIELD
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the
Village of Deerfield, after due investigation and considera-
tion, have determined that the nature and extent of the
public use and the public interest to be subserved is such
as to warrant the vacation of the street hereinafter described.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD
OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF DEERFIELD, LAKE AND COOK COUNTIES,
ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION That that portion of Forsythia Drive, a public
ONE: street in the Village of Deerfield, having
heretofore been dedicated by a document
recorded in the Office of the Recorder of Deeds of Lake
County, Illinois, on November 14, 1963, as Document No.
1207469, which portion of said street is legally described
as follows:
The South one foot of Forsythia Drive (60 feet wide)
lying north of the south line of the north half of
the northwest quarter of the southeast quarter of
Section 31, Township 43 North, Range 12, East of the
Third Principal Meridian, located in the We -Go Park
of Deerfield, being a subdivision located in the Village
of Deerfield, Lake County, Illinois,
as shown on and designated by the words "Hereby Vacated" on the
Plat hereto attached, which -Plat for greater cgrtainty*is hereby
made a part of this Ordinance, be and the same is hereby vacated
and closed, inasmuch as same is no longer required for public
use and the public interest will be subserved by such vacation.
SECTION That the Village of Deerfield reserves its
TWO: interest in all existing easements for public
utilities in the vacated portion of Forsythia
Drive.
SECTION That upon passage and approval of this Ordinance,
THREE: the Village Clerk shall file for record in the
Office of the Recorder of Deeds of Lake County,
Illinois, a certified copy of this Ordinance,'together with the
Plat hereto attached.

SECTION That all ordinances and parts of ordinances in
FOUR: conflict herewith, are, to the extent of such
conflict, hereby repealed.
SECTION That this Ordinance shall be in full force and
FIVE: effect from and after its passage, approval aid
filing for record in the manner herein provided.

NAYS: ONE (1)
ABSENT: NONE (0)
