AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A VARIATION FROM
THE PROVISIONS OF THE ZONING ORDINANCE
WITH RESPECT TO LOT 20 IN FOX CHAPEL
SUBDIVISION IN DEERFIELD, ILLINOIS
WHEREAS, Gee Builders has petitioned for a variation from
the strict provisions of the Zoning Ordinance of the Village
of Deerfield, passed May 4, 1953, as amended; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to notice duly published as required
by statute,-a public hearing on said petition was held and con-
ducted by the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Village of Deer-
field; and
WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals has filed with the
President and Board of Trustees its written findings of fact
and recommendations.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND
BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF DEERFIELD, LAKE AND COOK
COUNTIES, ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION That the findings of fact and recommendations
ONE: of the Zoning Board of Appeals is hereby con-
curred in and adopted as the findings of fact
of the President and Board of Trustees.
SECTION That there are practical difficulties and parti-
TWO: cular hardship in the way of carrying out the
strict letter of the provisions of the Zoning
Ordinance of the Village of Deerfield as applied to Petitioner's
property which is legally described as follows:

Lot 20 in the Fox Chapel Subdivision of that part
of the Northeast Quarter of Section 29, Township 43
North,. Range 12, East of the Third Principal Meridian,
lying East of the East line of Waukegan Road, in the
Village of Deerfield, Lake County, Illinois.
SECTION That a variation from the strict provisions
THREE: of Section VI, C -3 of the Zoning Ordinance
of the Village of Deerfield, passed May 4,
1953, as amended, with respect to the property hereinabove
described, is hereby granted so as to permit a rear yard of
34 feet in lieu of the required 50 feet.
SECTION That the variation hereby granted is subject
FOUR: to the condition that there be compliance
by the petitioner with all other applicable
ordinances of the Village.
SECTION That this Ordinance shall be in full force
FIVE: and effect from and after its passage and
approval, as provided by law.
