ABATEMENT OF MWICIPAL BUILDING
BOND TAX FOR 1967
BE IT ORDAINED by the Mayor and Board of Trustees
of the Village of Deerfield, that:
The County Clerk of Lake County and the County Clerk of
Cook County are hereby authorized and directed to abate the tax
of $11,950.00 hitherto provided for and levied in the ordinance
providing for the issuance of ONE HUNDRED SEVENTY -FIVE
THOUSAND DOLLARS ($175,000.00) Municipal Building Bonds
of the Village of Deerfield, Lake and: Cook Counties, Illinois,
passed August 13, 1956, a copy of which is filed with the County
Clerks.
The Village of Deerfield has ;on hand sufficient funds to pay
the tax levied by the above- described ordinance for the fiscal year
commencing May 1, 1967, and the levy of the tax provided in the
ordinance is unnecessary. Therefore the County Clerks are directed
to abate and not spread the said tax.
