ORDINANCE NO. 0 -67- 55
AN ORDINANCE REPEALING THE
REPEALER OF SECTION 16.404 OF CHAPTER 16
OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF DEERFIELD
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF DEERFIELD, LAKE AND COOK COUNTIES,
ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION That Section 2 of Ordinance No.0 67 -41 repealing
ONE: Section 16.404 of Chapter 16 of the Municipal
Code of the Village of Deerfield, as amended,
be and the same is hereby repealed and said Section 16.404 of the
Municipal Code of Deerfield is hereby amended to read as follows:
16.404 Use of funds. So much of the proceeds of
the three- fourths of one percent tax on retail dealers
as may be necessary for the purpose shall be
segregated and set aside for the payment
of the principal and interest due on bonds
issued by the village to finance the cost of
constructing a village hall. If such bonds
are issued, the tax to pay the principal and
interest on such bonds shall be abated each
year in which the fund from the sales tax
is sufficient to meet the principal and interest
payments due that year.
SECTION This Ordinance shall be in full force
TWO: and effect from and after its passage, approval
and publication as provided by law.
